Recipe anchovies and black olives canapés

In Spain the tradition of pincho or tapas is deeply rooted. Homemade recipes like this, are a very appetizing option, yes, for special occasions.

Ingredients for 4 pers:

100 grams of boneless black olives, 12 anchovies fillets in oil and salting, 2 cloves of garlic, lemon juice, 8 piquillo peppers, 1 baguette type bread bar, 6 tablespoons of olive oil and salt.

Cut a clove of garlic into thin slices and saute it in a little oil, over a very mild heat, until it begins to brown.
At that time, add the piquillo peppers cut into thin strips and saute them for 5 minutes.
We reserve the peppers
Grind the black olives in the blender, along with 1 clove of garlic, 2 anchovy fillets, 4 tablespoons of virgin olive oil and the juice of half a lemon.
Cut the bread into thin slices and toast lightly in the oven. Once the bread is toasted, we spread it with the olive paste and cover each slice with a layer of peppers and half an anchovy fillet.

Dietary Comment:

Anchovies belong to the large family of blue fish, and as such, they stand out for their content in omega-3 fatty acids, which are considered protectors of circulatory disorders. This tasty recipe also includes olives and olive oil, rich in monounsaturated fats, also cardio-healthy.
